Green Beans and Bacon
Green Beans and Bacon – super easy to prepare dish with fresh green beans, bacon bits and garlic. An excellent flavorful side with few simple ingredients that brings a crisp fresh flavor to your holiday or weeknight meal!

Tips and Notes:
- When cooking green beans in this recipe, cook them until they’re just tender crisp so they don’t end up soggy.
- You may use canned or frozen green beans in this recipe but I strongly suggest that you go with the fresh ones ’cause they have the very best flavors and textures.
- Do not completely discard all the bacon drippings. Just leave approximately a tablespoon in the pan as this a good replacement for butter and oil for sauteing.
- If you like to add a little bit of heat, you may toss in a few chili flakes instead of the creole seasoning.
